Well ever since I switched to Linux on my primary machine I had to find a Quake replacement in order to get my FPS fix! Has anyone ever heard of OpenArena? OpenArena is an free and open source FPS based on Q3 engine.
I can put the server up if JJ is willing to manage it. If he isn't then we need a volunteer. JJ I think has been snowed under of late, no power, heat or any of that other good stuff. Suckie!!!

I heard of it. It's like old school Quake 3 (patch 16 or so). You can play the Quakes, Dooms, and Unreals under Linux and even BSD Unixes, without WINE. Hit me up if you need help. With that.
