Well ever since I switched to Linux on my primary machine I had to find a Quake replacement in order to get my FPS fix! Has anyone ever heard of OpenArena? OpenArena is an free and open source FPS based on Q3 engine.

http://openarena.ws/

Just curious if anyone else plays it?

I can put the server up if JJ is willing to manage it. If he isn't then we need a volunteer. JJ I think has been snowed under of late, no power, heat or any of that other good stuff. Suckie!!!

I heard of it. It's like old school Quake 3 (patch 16 or so).
You can play the Quakes, Dooms, and Unreals under Linux and even BSD Unixes, without WINE.
Hit me up if you need help. With that.

Some of us may actually be trying to develop a game. O_O * whistle * leaves little time for games.
