What is this crap Windows Vista do's not support USB Flatbed Scanner. what no on use's a flatbed scanner any more

I have a Artec USB Flatbed Scanner created by Ultima Electronics Corporation. Is there a work around

Don't blame Vista, blame the people that make the scanner for not providing a driver.

Exactly, these same things happen every time MS comes out with a new OS, 3rd parties need to update there software. Look for Vista drivers on there site and maybe try running this in compatability mode (XPSP2). It may or may not work?

Also SP1 will be out in a month or 2 and there will be some compatibility fixes as well. And thank God they have decided to pull the GPMC out as well, it should have never been there!!
