If you're a fan of the story, GO.........see it at the Imax if you can . I heard the 3D was just incredible. I will see it this week most likely. Perfectly timed with Steve's Christmas decor here at Netwerkin.
P.S. - if you don't like Jim Cary, go anyway you can't tell it's him. Thank goodness they didn't let him do his usual schtik like in Lemony Snickets.
I agree, there are q few too many. I think a lot of the young-uns need it to be brought up to speed though. I think we could re-do the Wizard of Oz, too. LOL

Yeah, where the Wizard turns out to be an alien and The Emerald City is real. Toto is a Rotweiler. The Tin Man, Scarecrow and Lion are all gay. The Flying monkeys are a real tribe of people from New Guinea and the witches are Wiccan who have no power at all. Wadyya think? We can do this. LOL

OK, update here.......I think it was pretty dam amazing. Best appreciated at the IMAX. We all prolly know the story alothough a few details were left out for whatever reason but it was quite a feast for the eyes....really! 90 It won't be around much longer with AVATAR coming next week so go if you can. It was worth it IMHO.
