When I got the call about my van and went to the tow yard to see it I found my 200 dollar binoculars still under the seat. I was so happy to get them back but when tried to take them the tow yard wouldn't let me saying the car and its contents had to be cleared first thru my insurance. Yesterday after the car was cleared and towed to the Chrysler/Plymouth dealership for repairs I went to get my binoculars. Have you guessed it yet? If you guessed they were gone you get the prize. Some days it just isn't worth chewing thru the straps *sigh* OK, I'm done whining, thanks for listening *smile*

Went out to Langley's the towing yard that had the van when I tried talking to them about the bincoluars I was called a lair, sworn at and told to leave the property, they have such a endearing customer response team *sigh*

*lol* Lets not go quite that far but I am filing a stolen property report with the local police and filing a complaint with the BBB. Not that I think I will get my binoculars back, I am hoping that maybe I will save someone else a loss of their property and letting Langley's know that this isn't a acceptable business practice
Update on this little adventure: Went to police station yesterday as requested *Saturday Dec 12th* only to find it closed. Silly me!!!! I thought police stations were open seven days a week. I am going to go tomorrow at 9:00 when they open to report the theft. Keep you posted on the outcome

*sigh* Vancouver's finest tell me I have no proof that Langley's took the binoculars and that Dick Hannah could have taken them or the tow truck driver that towed the van from Langley's to the State Farm inspection center and wouldn't accept a stolen property report. I feel cheated *smile*
