I resigned from my job and gave notice 2 weeks ago, and start a new job Monday. I KNEW that something was wrong with the company because of the things that the auditors were asking me to get from the network and the execs email archives. Everyone thought I was nuts, just being paranoid.

They called an all hands meeting this morning and told 170 people that they are now unemployed, have a nice day.

Looks like my supposed paranoia we fairly well founded eh?

nice move randy.

cant remeber the last time i had a job interview. the jobs i took, the people knew me already. basically the job was mine - all i had to do was blead them a little and sign.
then again we have stupid notice rules.
the last job i had i had to do 12 months notice - i did 2 and let them sue me...the new firm paid the fine... 2 weeks could be an advantage, then again i have a little more security knowing they cant throw me out before xmas...

*shrugs*

hope the new job is what u want. gl.

Things over here are getting tighter, and I don't know people in this business in Austin. So Cal would have been a lot different but they're having their issues too. The credit industry is sucking big time.

The new job is great, even though shit is falling apart I'm getting to build it properly so it's stable and we can all gather in a circle and hum kum-ba-ya.
